Christmas holidays are the time of the year when we get together with family and friends to celebrate these much awaited and traditional days. Even though there are traditions that never change, like for example the dinner and the chimes of New Year´s Eve, do you know how to make this year different?
If you are willing to break the mould, Lékué would like to propose to you some alternatives to innovate on the last night of the year:
Our first option: surprise everyone with a cake in the shape of the number 2012! How? It is as easy as choosing the ingredients you like the most, combine them following one of our favourite recipes and pour them in the moulds in the shape of numbers. An idea to say goodbye to the year in a big way. It will be a complete success!
If, on the other hand, you prefer a more gourmet touch, with the Macaroon Kit you will make small French confectionery and you will give a touch of colour and sophistication to these days.
And for the youngest of the house? We invite you to try the 3D Christmas Tree, a mould which will allow you to create a chocolate fir tree in 3 dimensions and decorate the table in an original way. Another one of our favourite suggestions for children is: a Gingerman Cake. The youngest members of the family will have a good time preparing it, drawing eyes, mouth and buttons and they will enjoy a Christmas dessert to their liking.

The chimes have already rang and it is time to bring out the glasses and toast. Are you going to offer the same as every year? Why not use the fruit eaten on New Year’s Eve in Spain, grapes, and make small cubes to refresh and decorate the glasses? It is very easy! You only need the Ice Cube, a tray to obtain perfectly square ice cubes with any ingredients you like inside to bring joy and colour at the time you toast.
