How to snack and not show it!
Snacks are usually eaten between meals. Sometimes they’re quite tempting... You should know how to choose snacks that don’t affect your figure. Here are some useful ideas.
To start, a basic yoghurt or piece of fruit. Portable and easy to eat. Also, they're very nutritious and complement a healthy diet. If you want something different, make a peach and cheese skewer, or papaya and pineapple smoothie with fresh mint...
Also, when the weather gets warm, homemade ice cream is a good alternative. Blend a yoghurt or some low-fat milk with fruit and let it set in your Luki ice cream mould. Put it in the freezer and you'll have a delicious, healthy snack in just a few hours.
Other alternatives include toasted bread, crisp bread or crackers with low-fat cold meats: baked ham, Serrano ham, pork loin, or low-fat spreading cheese. If you crave something sweet, try spreading the bread with fat-free marmalade available in a variety of flavours!
Weekend snacks can also be light and delicious. Some examples: steamed clams and razor clams, ginger prawns or cockles with lemon and ham.
As far as beverages are concerned, teas and diet drinks are practically calorie-free.
